I am a fast learner and have always enjoyed working on a broad spectrum of skills, my favorites of which are concepting and illustrating. I have also thoroughly enjoyed being a team leader and an art director on previous projects. Despite having my personal preferences when it comes to art I also like to try out something new or something that I do not feel as skilled at to keep myself on my toes. I work very well in a team, I am sociable and can also be an independent, hard worker. Feel free to take a look at my full résumé by clicking the image below.

Hi, I am Jitske Habekotté. I was born in 1992 in Delft in the Netherlands. After two years of medical school and one year of behavioral sciences I found my true passion and I am now a fourth year Game Art student at the NHTV in Breda where I will graduate in 2018. I have a great enthusiasm for making things look beautiful and different. I have always been drawing as well as painting and have thoroughly enjoyed making both digital and traditional art. Experimenting with colors and shapes has helped me greatly when making concepts for projects. At the NHTV I learned to work professionally both in 3D and in 2D. I also have experience with being a team leader and I am a proficient Art Director on our current project. Games that mean a lot to me have beautiful visuals and a tendency to be very story oriented. I would love nothing more than to be part of a team that envisions games like these, both during my internship and after I graduate. I believe games have the potential to bring about strong emotions and inspire new ideas or visions. It would be a shame not to utilize this to the fullest.
